The staff were amazing and super friendly, both Catia and Laura helped a lot during the stay. Location was very good especially being on top of a hill (I enjoyed the walk up after having a meal near the beach).

A bit dated decor, the beds could be better (two single mattresses put together), it's not as clean (dead mosquitos/bugs still attached on walls). I wouldn't call this a 4 star hotel, if I was being honest I would say 3 star at best.

Pleasant , nice pool, but no ‘vibe’

The room was comfortable but my balcony looked onto carpark.

Long walk down or up ‘very’ steep hill, which is not indicated in info of hotel. Also there is no information in room of what in available in hotel or what’s happening in town or in area. You have to research this on your own. Staff helpful if you know what you’re after. Have to say tourist office was just as bad.

This Hotel is perfect place to stay when exploring Carvoeiro!

the hotel building and layout ... one of our first holidays we've enjoyed with our room on the ground floor and with easy access to reception, the bar, pool and gardens ... excellent, friendly and helpful staff team

we loved having the outside space with the table and two chairs .. we hope this space will be restored to its full glory once the redecorations to the front façade of the hotel are undertaken.

Overall a great stay!

Room was big to our surprise, nice and comfortable mattress. Wide and great selection for breakfast. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant that was good too. Receptionist was pleasant, friendly, great professional. She offered us help to book a boat tour next day, which was really helpful. We appreciated parking lot in front of the hotel. I felt sorry we stayed only one night as we could not explore town and visit the beach.

Even we asked for a quiet room we were given first room in the hall so everybody had to pass our room to reach their. Too much noise from the hall and also from outside as there was a terrace next to our room and they were playing loud music at late hour.

Wonderful

Staff very friendly and helpful. They helped us booking also the boat tour for the day after. Room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

Being the hotel uphill I would not suggest it for older people without a car. The restaurant had only two choices of food so very limited.

Some things were being renovated and some didn’t work properly. Location isn’t for everyone. A 1.5km walk to the beach , a steep hill back to hotel

Nice hotel with very friendly and helpful stuff.

Its a nice hotel with very friendly stuff. The location is a bit away from the center, on top of the hill so it is nice that the hotel provides parking space for the cars. The center is about 15 mins walk from the hotel, however coming back is all uphill so it takes an extra 10 minutes but good for a workout :) The breakfast was diversified and upon request they provided me gluten free bread which is a plus.

The hotel was a bit old and had a bit of musty smell. I know we went a bit off season (October) but the swimming pool was a bit dirty. Could be also because it was raining sometimes.

We had a great stay, the hotel staff are wonderful and are there when you want anything.

Location, value, staff and relaxed vibe

Dated / old and delaminated furnishings and windows / doors. The bed was very firm, too firm! We had an apartment which was a great space but some cleaning products in the kitchen would be a helpful addition.
